CONDITIONS AND REGULATIONS
 
1. Work characteristics: Photographs of all types, styles, methods and processing, black/white or color prints shall be accepted. Each photographer can enter a maximum of four (4) prints. Photographs previously exhibited at one of the PHOTOMEDIA Salons shall not be accepted.
2. Topic: Unrestricted (free).
3. Contestants: Participants from any country may enter this competition – both amateurs and professionals.
4. Size of photographs: The size is from 20 x 30 cm to 30 x 40 centimeters (unframed and without a cardboard support). Submissions not conforming to these conditions shall not be accepted.
5. Collection: All four (4) photographs, which are registered for the Competition can be sent as collection; in this case please mark collection ( COLL ).
6. Information: The back side of each photograph should contain the following information, printed (capital letters): - Photographer’s name and surname; - Title of the submission in Macedonian or one of the FIAP languages; - Number of photograph or collection, must correspond to the number on the Application.
7. Aplication: Each shipment of photographs must be accompanied by the enclosed forms (Application and sticker with addresses) filled out by the photographer. The number of the photograph in the Application must be printed on the back of the photograph as well.
8. How to send entries: Photographers can send their photographs individually, or through their clubs, as ordinary printed matter only, in a
flat package (till two (2) kilograms), at the following address: PHOTO CLUB “ELEMA” - SKOPJE Partizanski odredi 155-1/82 1000 SKOPJE, MACEDONIA, Europa Rolled photographs and parcels exceeding two kilograms shall not be accepted.
9. The ENTRY Fee: As a compensation for entry, return costs and the costs of the catalogue the entry fee is
15 EUR or 20 USD
Submissions not accompanied by the Participation Fee shall neither be reviewed, nor returned to the sender. .
10. Use of photographs: By accepting these regulations the Organiser may use the exhibited photographs for reproduction in the catalogue and in the press free of charge.
11. Final regulations: • Photographs shall be treated with utmost care. Organiser shall assume no responsibility for damages or loss of photographs during transport. Upon the conclusion of the Salon, the photographs shall be carefully set and returned in the same envelope they were sent in. • Each photographer shall receive a catalogue, and the rewarded photographers shall receive the appropriate awards. • The Members of the Jury may not enter the competition with their own works in the part of the Exhibition which is being reviewed. They may exhibit their works outside the official competition.

AWARDS AND COMMENDATIONS
The International Jury shall award the following awards and commendations: 1. FOR INDIVIDUAL PHOTOGRAPHS: • FIAP Medals - one gold, one silver, one bronze • RIBBONS - five with equal status 2. FOR COLLECTIONS: • FIAP Medals - one gold, one silver, one bronze • RIBBONS - five with equal status
3. SPECIAL PRIZES AND AWARDS: For the overall artistic impression of the entries received, the Jury shell award • THE SKOPJE CITY PLATE for individual photographs
SCHEDULE OF THE SALON
The last day for receipt of the entries, i.e. closing date for entries: September 15th, 2010
Sessions of the Jury – selection and review of photographs: September 25 th, 2010 Notifications on the results of the review: October 1st, 2010 only on the internet:
